1973
maltech Hebebühnen-Vermietung GmbH Co. is founded in Stuttgart. The business started with the hiring of truck-mounted working platforms. Scissor and telescopic working platforms followed a few years later.
1990
In Germany the foundation for the mateco network is laid with 6 branches.
1996
The foreign company in Luxembourg is founded.
1998
In Tychy the Polish subsidiary is founded; additional locations follow.
1999
The company's name is changed to the non-listed mateco AG.
2000
mateco is the first rental company to have the highest platform of all at that time with a working height of 88 m. The largest all-wheel drive truck-mounted platform with a working height of 62 m is also part of the equipment fleet.
Year 2003 - mateco opens its branch office in Poznan.
Year 2003 - mateco opens its branch office in Warszawa.
2007
Spółka Odewald & Compagnie przejmuje większość udziałów w mateco.
mateco opens a branch in Gdansk.
2008
Odewald Compagnie Gesellschaft für Beteiligungen mbH assumes the majority share in mateco. Straub Mobilmietlift in Reutlingen changes into the stock company.
10 years of mateco in Poland. Winning the title of Business Gazelle.
2009
mateco opens a branch in Wrocław
2012
The TVH Group with headquarters in Waregem, Belgium, purchases mateco AG.
Then the company is renamed in mateco GmbH.
mateco opens a branch in Rzeszów.
2013
mateco celebrates its 40th birthday.
Year 2014 - mateco opens a branch in Łódź.
2015
mateco mobile platforms becomes a world leader in height access technology according to IPAF.
mateco opens a branch in Krakow

Mateco service is authorized by the Office of Technical Inspection to modernize and repair mobile platforms and trucks and to manufacture their components.
2016
mateco was awarded by the Ministry of Development, Office of Technical Inspection

Mateco - Technical Safety Leader.
Year 2017 - mateco opens a branch in Szczecinie
